Leveling the Playing Field
Our mission is to equip girls, students of color, low-income, and at-risk students with the skills to compete for any job they want.
OUR MISSION
We have a population of students in the Chicago-land area that are not being given STEM and STEAM opportunities.

Our mission at FourMonkeys is to give female, minority, low-income, and at-risk students two things: exposure and practical experience.
​
We have developed a multi-year program, starting as early as 5 years old, that will keep kids engaged early and the help them gain experience and exposure as they quickly move towards college or the workforce.

Why is it important?
Underrepresented groups who initially declare a STEM field when entering college, exit those fields in droves (either by switching to a non-STEM major or dropping out of college altogether).
Why do we exist?
By equipping our students with both technical and professional skills we endeavor to provide them the skills to flourish in high-demand and high-paying jobs.
We focus as much on teaching skills like public speaking, presentation, and accepting criticism as we do coding and architecture or design.
